This Tumblr Calls Out iOS 7 Design Flaws

Apple’s latest operating system may already be running on nearly three quarters of Apple-supported mobile devices, but that doesn’t mean it’s flawless.

UX Critique, an anonymous Tumblr account, which was recently featured on the popular Apple blog Daring Fireball, has catalogued nearly a dozen user-experience design issues since it started posting shortly after the release of iOS 7 in mid-September.

The account criticizes font sizes and margins in certain apps, technical jargon used in prompts and aesthetic issues with the new layering effect in apps. Some of these critiques may seem trivial, but as the Tumblr account notes in one post, “Whatever happened to Apple’s famed attention to detail?”

This isn’t the only Tumblr to flag iOS 7 design flaws. Sloppy UI has highlighted plenty of issues with the operating system’s user-interface design since it launched.
